Before you start building, it's useful to understand the core components of Inflowpay and how they work together.

Inflowpay gives you two ways to build: use us as a Merchant of Record, or go deeper with APIs to move and manage money yourself.

Orchestration

Orchestration is the foundation of Inflow Connect. It gives you direct control over how money moves: in, out, and across currencies all via API.

You can:

• Collect funds via Hosted Checkout (fiat → stablecoins) or direct stablecoin transfers
• Register destinations (external bank accounts, crypto wallets) for your customers
• Trigger payouts in local currency or stablecoins - FX is handled automatically
• Move money between accounts (external wallets → bank accounts, cross-chain transfers)
• Earn developer fees on every transaction with custom commission rates
• Automate flows with customer creation, account registration, and payment APIs

All payouts can be made directly in local currency via local rails (SEPA, ACH, NIBSS, M-Pesa). No need to manually quote or convert before sending.

Manager (Custodial Wallets)

Manager is a fully managed wallet infrastructure, for platforms that want to go live fast with less compliance and custodial complexity.

We automatically provide:

• One custodial wallet per customer (created on-demand via API)
• Secure key management - easy management of keys and transaction signing
• Compatible with all APIs - works seamlessly with payments and payouts

Wallets are assigned:

• Per customer automatically when first needed
• Treasury/platform wallets for your own business accounts

You can use Manager wallets for:

• Simplified onboarding - no external wallet required from customers
• Hosted payment flows - collect fiat, auto-convert to USDC in Manager wallet
• Streamlined payouts - send from Manager wallet to external accounts
• Mixed flows - customers can use both Manager + external wallets

Note: Manager wallets are optional. Customers can use external wallets exclusively if preferred.

Inflow Pay (Merchant of Record)

Inflow Pay is the Merchant of Record (MoR) layer. It lets you accept payments globally without dealing with tax compliance, licensing, or managing multiple payment processors. You don't need to register for tax, hold a license, or handle chargebacks – we take care of all of that.

How it works:

• We become the legal seller
• You integrate using hosted checkout or payment links
• We collect funds from the buyer
• We issue the invoice in our name
• We settle funds to you in fiat or stablecoins

We invoice the buyer directly, then issue you a net payout (self-billing model).
