Quaderno (Tax Compliance)
When do you need Quaderno?
Inflow already calculates VAT automatically for all payments. Quaderno is for merchants who need to go further:
- You sell to customers in multiple countries and need legally valid tax receipts and invoices for each transaction
- You sell digital products or SaaS — where cross-border VAT rules (EU VAT OSS, US sales tax, etc.) are complex and vary by product type
- Your accountant or finance team needs structured tax reports to file declarations
- You need B2B reverse charge handled correctly (EU VAT exemptions between businesses)
If you're a small merchant collecting payments in one or two countries, Inflow's built-in tax calculation is sufficient. Quaderno is the step up when compliance documentation matters.
How to Connect
- Go to Settings > Integrations in your Inflow Dashboard.
- Find Quaderno and click Connect.
- Authorize Inflow on the Quaderno page.
Once connected, every payment automatically generates a receipt in your Quaderno account and uses Quaderno's tax engine for calculation.
What Changes After Connection
