The Business Info screen lets you control how your business is identified to your customers — both on the Inflow checkout pages and on their bank statements.

How to Access

Go to your Inflow Dashboard.
Click Settings in the sidebar — Business Info is the default tab.

Fields You Can Edit

Field	Description
Business name	Public name shown on hosted checkout pages, payment links, subscription pages, and customer receipts (e.g. `Polyblocks & Co`). Use the brand name your customers recognise.
Statement descriptor	The short label your customers see on their card or bank statement next to a charge from you. Limited to 11 characters, alphanumeric. The full string customers see is `INFLOWPAY* <your descriptor>`, so e.g. setting `MY BRAND` displays as `INFLOWPAY* MY BRAND`.

Changes apply to future payments only — they don't rewrite descriptors on already-issued charges.

Why the Statement Descriptor Matters

It's the single most common cause of customer-initiated chargebacks on cards. If the customer doesn't recognise the line on their statement, they call their bank and dispute it. Pick a clean, recognisable descriptor and chargebacks drop.

11 characters maximum (acquirer-imposed limit).
Should match — or clearly map to — the brand name customers know you by.
Avoid generic words like PAYMENT or STORE.

Why You Don't See More Fields Here

Things like your legal entity name, registered address, or tax ID are captured during onboarding and locked once your KYC / KYB is verified, because they're tied to your compliance file. If you need to change any of them, contact [email protected].

What Completing KYB / KYC Unlocks

Once your verification is complete:

Self-employed merchants unlock virtual IBANs to receive payments via bank transfer.
All merchants unlock card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) on hosted checkout and via the SDK.

Verification is handled by Inflow's compliance team. You'll get an email when your status changes — there is nothing to click on this page to trigger it.
