Understanding Your Balance

Overview
Balances in your Inflow Dashboard shows how much money you have, what's on its way, and your latest payouts and conversions. Click Balances in the sidebar to open it.

| GBP balance | The GBP payments awaiting settlement, with an estimate in USD. GBP settles to your USD balance |
| Withdraw | Send funds from the USD or EUR card to your bank account or wallet |
| Convert currencies | Convert between your USD and EUR balances |
| Payout destinations | Opens Payout Accounts, where you manage your bank accounts and wallets |
| Recent payouts and conversions | Your 5 latest payouts and conversions. Click See full list to open them in Transactions |

How Your Balance Works
GET /api/balance is the source of truth for programmatic integrations (including Connect with X-On-Behalf-Of). The response includes custodialBalances: separate USDC and EURC buckets. There is no automatic cross-currency conversion — funds stay in the settlement currency for the payment rail:

The top-level currencySymbol / readableAmount fields reflect the primary USDC line for backward compatibility; use custodialBalances for per-currency amounts.
When a customer completes a payment:
- The payment is authorized → appears as Awaiting settlement on Balances.
- The payment settles → funds move to your available balance.
- You request a payout → funds are sent to your bank or wallet.
For platforms and marketplaces, balances can exist per seller instead of only on your own merchant account. Use Connect to onboard sub-merchants and see Fees and Payouts for how each payment is split between the seller, your platform fee, and Inflow fees.
Balance Features
Deposits
The bank transfers you receive on your virtual accounts are listed in Transactions → Deposits, with their amount, status, sender and date. See Deposits.
Payout Destinations
Manage your payout destinations in Settings → Payout accounts, or click Payout destinations on Balances. See Payout Accounts.
- Bank accounts — EUR, USD accounts (see Global Payout Coverage for full list)
- Crypto wallets — USDC or EURC on supported networks (opt-in)
Virtual Accounts (IBANs)
Inflow provides dedicated virtual IBANs for receiving bank transfers. See Receiving Funds via Virtual IBANs for details.
