How Payouts Work
Available via: Dashboard, or the Payout API for programmatic withdrawals (including Connect marketplaces acting on behalf of sub-merchants).
Overview
When your customers pay you through Inflow, funds settle in USDC or EURC on your custodial wallet (no automatic EUR↔USD conversion). Use GET /api/balance → custodialBalances as the source of truth. You can then withdraw to:
- Bank accounts — EUR, USD, and other supported currencies (see Global Payout Coverage)
- Crypto wallets — USDC or EURC on Polygon, Ethereum, Base, Starknet, Solana, and other supported networks
How to Request a Payout
- Go to the Balance page in your Inflow Dashboard.
- Click Withdraw or navigate to the Payouts tab.
- Select the destination account (bank or wallet).
- Enter the amount to withdraw (or withdraw the full available balance).
- Review the payout quote (exchange rate, fees, estimated arrival).
- Confirm the withdrawal.
Payout Destinations
Bank Accounts
- Local bank: real-time to 1 business day — see Global Payout Coverage & Networks for supported countries
- SWIFT: 1–4 business days
Crypto Wallets
- Paid in USDC on your chosen network (Ethereum, Polygon, Base, Solana, Starknet, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche — see Global Payout Coverage & Networks)
- Typically instant once submitted
3rd Party Payouts
Inflow supports paying out to third-party recipients — such as vendors, contractors, or service providers.
How to Set Up
- Go to Settings > Accounts in your Dashboard.
- Click Add New Account.
- Add the third party's bank account or crypto wallet details.
- Label the account clearly (e.g., "Vendor - Acme Corp").
How to Pay a Third Party
- Go to Balance > Withdraw.
- Select the third-party account as the destination.
- Enter the amount and confirm.
The payout is processed the same way as payouts to your own accounts — same timing, same fees.
Use Cases
| Scenario | Description |
|---|---|
| Vendor payments | Pay suppliers for goods or services |
| Contractor payouts | Pay freelancers or contractors |
| Revenue sharing | Split revenue with partners or affiliates |
| Commissions | Pay commissions to sales agents |
Payout Quotes
Before confirming a withdrawal, you see a payout quote that includes:
- The amount being withdrawn from your Inflow balance
- The converted amount in the destination currency (or USDC if paying out to a wallet)
- Any applicable fees
- Estimated delivery time
Canceling a Payout
You can cancel a pending payout before it's submitted:
- Go to Balance > Payouts.
- Find the pending payout.
- Click Cancel.
Once a payout is submitted to the network (bank or blockchain), it cannot be canceled.
Important Notes
- Dashboard: withdraw manually from Balance > Withdraw as described above.
- API: use
POST /api/payoutafter registering a payout destination — see End-to-End API Flow for the full sequence (bank-form→ register destination → payout). - Your available balance must cover the payout amount.
- Payout fees and exchange rates vary by destination.
- Network fees for crypto payouts are handled by Inflow.
